I possess a consistent and proven track record of successfully employing the best business practices and leading development teams - both collocated and remote - to successfully launching 30+ products and bringing them to market, while at the same time improving efficiency, increasing performance and reducing operating costs.
I engaged from early on in several positions of the Software Development Life Cycle. Having joined DSGi as part of a one-year internship University program, that was then extended, upon the company's request to 2 years. It also led to DSGi offering me a full-time contract which would commence one day after my graduation.
In DSGi, I held different positions. I started as First and Second Line Support Analyst/Technician, then proceeded to a Business Analyst role, moved to QA and Software development, then to User Liaison and finally to Business Improvement Manager where I was managing a team of four Business Analyst, two Software Developers and a DBA.
In 2013 I moved back to Cyprus with my wife and three children to take care of my ailing father. Here I joined
2GIS, as one of the first five employees and helped the company set up its processes, ultimately growing to 30+
strong before I was presented with an excellent opportunity to join PointRF.
At my time of joining, PointRF was a start-up with only the CEO, the COO, the HR, one Accountant, and two
software developers.
There as Head of Product Management, I identified market opportunities, built the VMOSA (Vision, Mission,
Objective Strategies and Actions) the roadmap, set priorities, recruited software developers, QAs and ultimately
building seven teams (two software teams in Cyprus, two software teams in Ukraine and three hardware teams
in Israel). Furthermore, I lead the Design, POC, prototype and development of various systems such as the
NoWander, TablAID, StaffMate, safeTsense, safeTpass and Mobile Tracking Unit. I also contributed to five US
patents that PointRF received in 2013 and was instrumental in the selling of the company in 2017.
My next stop was another start-up, Extra Energy, as one of the first ten employees (in Cyprus). As part of the
Interview Committee, I helped grow the team from 10 to 80+ employees and was key in the Agile Transformation
of the company and as well as being part of an Agile SCRUM team.
In 2019, I joined the newly formed OROPAY, where, as the CPO I set up and managed up to seven teams (max
number of subordinates one Project Manager, eight Product Owners, six Scrum Masters and three UX designers
- the developers and QA engineers reported to the CTO). I also served as a consultant to the BOD.
I am very goal and target driven with a knack to solve difficult problems.
