Now we're looking to recruit a Credit and Counterparty Risk Specialist on a full time, permanent basis to join the existing international team.
Location: Cyprus/Latvia/Russia
Main responsibilities
- Analyze counterparty financial information and issue internal credit rating, statements, define counterparty limits.
- Monitor relevant counterparty events, monitor use of counterparty limits.
- Monitor credit markets and other credit relevant processes.
- Participate in bonds corporate actions.
- Develop counterpart limit systems, early warning indicators
- Develop bonds repo haircut process
- Potentially develop scoring systems
- Assist corporate action department on coupons, expirations, maturities
- Maintain bonds master data,
- Suspicious Transactions Monitoring
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- At least 3 years experience in credit, underwriting, finance, credit research or related fields
- Experience or demonstrated understanding in financial statement analysis
- Excel and Bloomberg experience is a must
- CFA or identical certification would be a plus
- Knowledge of statistical analysis (SAS, Matlab, Python)
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting language SQL would be an asset
- Previous experience in writing of software specifications is an asset
- English is a must, Russian or other languages will be an asset
- Self-starter; comfort dealing with ambiguity
- Strong sense of accountability for helping our team achieve its collective goals and best-serve our customers
- Must be a team-oriented individual with a willingness to contribute new ideas, collaborate, and learn from and mentor others
