Your daily activities as a QA Engineer will be:
- Understand the principles of client-server interaction;
- Understand the importance of maintaining test documentation;
- Know how to test applications on microservice architecture;
- Creation and implementation of a testing strategy that meets the goals and objectives of the Trading Platforms Administration Department;
- Definition of standards;
- Independent manual testing of server plugins, mt managers, mt administrators, client terminal, bridge aggregators and gateways;
- Development of testing strategy, preparation of test plans and checklists;
- Maintaining test documentation;
- Maintaining a fleet of devices for testing: selection, configuration, updating, maintenance, and control over issuance to employees;
- Continuous optimization of testing processes to increase efficiency and reduce testing time.
- Testing new tasks and features;
- Server loading and stress testing;
- Creating a regression testing plan;
- Identifying faults and bugs;
- Monitoring using Grafana, Zabbix;
- Analyze bug reports from users;
- investigate risk incidents, maintain documentation;
- Monitoring and analysis of quality indicators;
- Initiating and leading projects to improve quality and testing processes. functional, non-functional testing of a web application;
- analyze requirements, identify inconsistencies and contradictions;
- preparation of test documentation, registration of defects, and control of their correction;
- interaction with backend and frontend developers, BA;
- participation in the process of preparation, release, and support of a new version of the application;
- participation in the process of quality assurance of software development and testing.
You are best for this role if you have/are:
- Confident knowledge of MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and bridge aggregators;
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and quality control processes;
- Experience with Rest API;
- Knowledge of SQL at the level of complex queries;
- General experience in QA 3+ years;
- Experience working with test documentation;
- Proficiency in English at Intermediate level;
- Ability and willingness to work independently and make decisions;
- Experience working in a team, experience in organizing large group testing;
- Experience in organizing processes and procedures for restoring services in the event of failures.
An additional advantage will be:
- Experience as a System Administrator or DevOps engineer.
- Experience as a manager or administrator of MT4/MT5
- Amateur or professional programming experience in C++/C#/MQL4/MQL5
