Your daily activities as Corporate Actions Specialist will be:
- Monitor and process corporate events, manage symbols during non-standard trading hours, update swap rates, and support various trading and financial functions.
- Play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of trading operations.
- Monitoring and processing of corporate events (Dividends, splits, Spin-offs, ISIN change, transition to OTC).
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate actions to minimize risk and maximize trading opportunities.
- Provide support to the Customer Support team by addressing client inquiries and tickets related to corporate actions.
- Monitor the expiration of futures contracts and coordinate with trading teams to manage expirations efficiently.
- Manage trading symbols during weekends, holidays, and shortened trading sessions.
- Ensure that symbols are accurately listed and trading is conducted smoothly during non-standard hours.
- Regularly update swap rates in accordance with market conditions and trading strategies.
- Prepare reports related to corporate actions, positions, and trading activities.
- Distribute reports to management, customer support, and finance teams for decision-making and reconciliation purposes.
- Reconcile stock and ETF positions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
You are best for this role if you have/are:
- Previous work experience in a similar role within financial services sector.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
- Knowledge of the Meta Trader platform is a plus.
- Great sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to quickly and accurately analyze various financial events.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, corporate events, and trading processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to corporate actions is a plus.
- Flexibility to work during nighttime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Solid knowledge of CFDs for precious metals, equities, commodities, futures, indexes, and cryptocurrencies.
